The steel casing manipulates the magnetic field around to the base/exposed side of the product, amplifying the pull force significantly. They are also fitted with a thread and a removable eyelet, giving the magnet a range of applications, most suited to workshops and construction sites. They can be used to secure important items or cable out of the way, but due to the high pull force of these eyelets, they can be used to hold much heavier items if needed.
